Maintenance Plans

BASIC GARDEN MAINTENANCE

(2X/month)

Basic Maintenance includes all plants and seeds, organic pest/fungal management, and relevant horticultural materials. Visits are not at a set time. The farmer will harvest for you unless specified otherwise. Post-visit emails review the work done and any instructions to the homeowner.

APPRENTICESHIP

(2X/month):

Apprenticeship includes one hour of hands-on education with the farmer (scheduled), and one basic visit (unscheduled) each month, with materials (plants, seeds, sprays). Education visits are scheduled for a time you and your family are available to work in the garden with one of our farmers. The farmer will teach you how to successfully grow from seed to harvest, and give homework assignments along the way to keep you and/or your kids engaged in the garden during the off-weeks.

The Basic Maintenance plan and Apprenticeship package require a commitment to the whole session. There is a cancellation charge of one month’s maintenance should you decide to break from the commitment at any point during the session.

AQUAPONIC CONSULTING

(for DIY-inclined):

Professional help when you need it, schedule one of our farmers to work with you in your garden and cover the information you’d like to focus on. Materials, such as plants and equipment, are supplied at cost. We recommend this program be structured as a monthly visit, though this is not required.

ADDITIONAL MAINTENANCE

Growbed cleaning / Fish Tank cleaning or Tower cleaning:

May include adding clay pebbles, cleaning out the growbed, re-installing or taking down timers and blowing out the irrigation, and setting up or removing trellising.
